Here’s how to make Paula Deen’s Banana Pudding:

1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 (12 cup) packet instant vanilla pudding mix – 1 (12 cup) cold water
  • 2 cups whipped heavy cream
  • 1 vanilla wafer box
  • 4 to 5 sliced ripe bananas
  1. Combine the sweetened condensed milk and water in a large mixing basin. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Pour in the instant vanilla pudding mix and stir for about 2 minutes, or until the pudding thickens.
  3. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for at least 5 minutes to allow the pudding mixture to chill.
Meanwhile, whisk the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Remove the pudding mixture from the refrigerator and gently fold in the whipped cream until thoroughly mixed.
  5. Begin arranging the ingredients in a trifle dish or big serving bowl. Start with a layer of vanilla wafers, then a layer of sliced bananas, and finally a layer of the pudding mixture. Continue layering until all of the ingredients have been utilized, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
  6. For extra texture, crumble a few vanilla wafers and sprinkle them on top if preferred.
  7. Refrigerate the dish for at least 2 hours (or overnight) before serving to allow the flavors to mingle and the wafers to soften.

Paula Deen’s banana pudding is excellent!
