However, there is nothing simpler or healthier than making your own fresh cheese.

You only need a liter of milk, yogurt, and half a lemon to make this homemade cheese recipe. It’s quite simple!

Ingredients and Items Required

1 litre fresh milk (1000 g)
1 cup unsweetened white yogurt (or Greek yogurt).
a half a lemon’s juice
A one-meter-long hydrophilic cotton compress (available in pharmacies)
a big bowl
There are two ways to do it (your option).

Mixer of the type Thermomix:

Preparation

Add 1 cup plain unsweetened or Greek yogurt and the juice of 12 lemons. Finish with the 2 min / 90 / vel routine after mixing for 30 seconds on speed 4. 2. Allow 3 hours for the whey to separate.
Fold a 1 meter long cotton wool compress in half and set it on top of a large bowl.
Pour the contents into the container and compress to eliminate as much liquid as possible.
Empty the whey from the basin and combine it with the cheese. Squeeze, then place in the fridge with a weight on top for 30 minutes.
Close the compress after adding 1 pinch of salt.
Allow for an 8-hour resting period in the refrigerator.
