Making cookies and cream fudge and Nutella fudge was a lot of fun for me. So I set out to make peanut butter fudge.

Before I had a chance to explore, I stumbled across Alton Brown’s incredibly simple recipe. Unlike most of the other fudges I’ve made, this one has only four ingredients and does not contain chocolate.

This fudge needs to chill for a few hours before it’s ready to eat, but the actual prep time is less than 10 minutes, and it doesn’t require any baking or brain work. It’s quick and delicious!

Because it is produced without milk, this recipe is technically NOT fudge, yet it looks, feels, and tastes like fudge. It’s basically fudge, but I know a few snobbish folks who might disagree. So be it.

Ingredients:
1 pound confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 cup peanut butter 1/3 cup milk

In a large mixing basin, combine the sugar, butter, and milk. Cook for 2 minutes on high in the microwave. Take out the ingredients and blend them with a hand mixer. Microwave for another 30 seconds, then add peanut butter and stir by hand or with a mixer until incorporated. Spread in an 8×8 pan lined with foil. Allow to cool before cutting and serving. This will be a hit with everyone!!!!!!!
