Cheesecake danishes have long been one of my favorites. Growing up, we didn’t eat them very often at home, but there was usually a box full of them at the Sunday church service. I was all for eating these delectable goodies for breakfast, whether they were basic cheese, cherry, or apple.

Cheesecake danishes have long been one of my favorites. Growing up, we didn’t eat them very often at home, but there was usually a box full of them at the Sunday church service. I was all for eating these delectable goodies for breakfast, whether they were basic cheese, cherry, or apple.

I don’t frequently have time to make danishes from scratch these days, so when I do, I turn to these simple Apple Cheesecake Danish Bars! They’re easy to make because they’re made using crescent roll dough, apple pie filling, and a simple cream cheese mixture.

These bars are ideal for any occasion, but especially for entertaining because there is enough to feed a large group! There’s no wrong moment to enjoy these danish bars, whether for breakfast, an afternoon snack, or a warm dessert. If you’re making a smaller quantity for a smaller group, the recipe may easily be halved in half and baked in an 8×8 dish instead. A great alternative is to substitute cherry pie filling.
