1 pound hot and spicy sausage
4 garlic cloves 1 onion
1 little green bell pepper
1 celery cup
1 green cabbage head
1 tomato can, diced
1 cup uncooked brown basmati rice 1 cup chicken broth 1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cumin
cayenne pepper, 1/8 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon black pepper.

Directions
In a large saucepan, brown the sausage with the onion and garlic. Cook and stir for 3 minutes more after adding the green pepper and celery. Bring the remaining ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 40 to 50 minutes, stirring periodically, until rice is cooked.
