8 slices raisin-walnut bread
3 to 4 tbsp. prepared pesto
8 provolone and mozzarella cheese slices
8 tomato slices
1/4 cup softened butter

Pesto should be spread over four slices of bread. Top with the remaining bread and layer with cheese and tomato. Sandwiches should have their outsides buttered.
Toast sandwiches in a large skillet over medium heat until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
