INGREDIENTS:
1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp
Sauce:
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
4 teaspoons honey
2 tbsp of soy sauce
2 teaspoon lime juice
To taste, red pepper flakes/cayenne pepper
4 tbsp coarsely chopped fresh cilantro

DIRECTIONS: Whisk together the sauce ingredients and divide them in half.
Marinate the shrimp for 15-30 minutes in half of the sauce. Remove the marinade from the pan.
Pan sears the shrimp in oil in a 10′′ cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear them in batches until browned on both sides, about 1 minute per side.
Rub the shrimp into the caramelized bits on the pan’s bottom with tongs.
Serve hot, drizzled with the remaining sauce.
