What exactly is Creamy Cheesy? Gnocchi Bake
Creamy cheesy baked gnocchi is a main course dish made of gnocchi baked in a creamy tomato-based sauce with fresh spinach and a cheesy topping. Gnocchi are soft, thick, and chewy dumplings that are a form of pasta. They are most commonly found in Italian cuisine.

Gnocchi Baked Instructions
Baked gnocchi may sound elegant and complex to cook, but it really isn’t. You’re only four steps away from a wonderful Italian-inspired meal.

Cook the sauce: Bring spaghetti sauce and heavy cream to a simmer in a large oven-safe skillet or pan.
Incorporate the gnocchi: Stir in the gnocchi and spinach. Cook until the spinach has wilted slightly.
Finish with cheese: On top, layer parmesan and freshly sliced mozzarella cheese.

Use a high-quality pasta sauce: The pasta sauce adds a lot of flavor to this recipe, so use a nice one. We enjoy making our own marinara sauce.
Grate the parmesan fresh: For the finest flavor, use a high quality parmesan cheese and grate it fresh.
Evenly chop the spinach: To ensure an equal texture and flavor, cut the spinach into similar-sized pieces.
Combine the following herbs with the spinach: In addition to adding herbs as a garnish, include some into the spinach for added taste.
When using a mild pasta sauce, try adding additional seasonings such as Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder, or onion powder. Skip the extra spices if the spaghetti sauce is already quite tasty.
Gnocchi from scratch: Instead of buying store-bought gnocchi, you can easily create your own tasty potato gnocchi at home.
Substitutions and additions
Use these additions or substitutes to make this cheesy baked delight even better.

Protein: For added heartiness, add a protein like italian sausage, turkey, chicken, bacon, or ground beef to the recipe. Brown small chunks of your preferred meat in a pan with olive oil before adding to the cream sauce.
Cheese: Replace the mozzarella with an alternative easy-melting cheese, such as cheddar.
For a little heat, add crushed red pepper flakes to the cream.
Veggies: Increase your vegetable intake by eating grape or cherry tomatoes. Add it right before you put it in the oven.
