This Poor Man’s Prime Rib Recipe is by far the greatest way to prepare a roast. It transforms a cheap cut of meat into prime rib! Tender and delectable!

Ingredients
3 pound round roast beef eye
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder, plus salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit (260 degrees Celsius). Place the roast in a roasting pan or baking dish and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cover or add water as necessary.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the roast in the oven. Reduce the temperature to 475 degrees Fahrenheit (245 degrees Celsius). Roast for 21 minutes (seven minutes each pound), then remove from oven and set aside for 2 1/2 hours. During this period, do not open the door!
Remove the roast from the oven when the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F (65 degrees C). To serve, cut into thin slices.
