America’s most beloved family have been involved in a fatal plane crash on route to a concert.

In a devastating turn of events, we mourn the loss of the Nelons, a cherished gospel family, who were involved in a tragic plane crash while en route to a concert. Our hearts are heavy as we come to terms with the loss of these beloved individuals.

The crash, which occurred over Wyoming, claimed the lives of seven people, including Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, their daughter Amber, and son-in-law Nathan Kistler. Also among the victims were Melanie Hodges, a dedicated member of the family’s team, and Larry Haynie, the pilot, and his wife Melissa. We are grateful that Autumn Nelon Streetman, the sole surviving member of the group, was not on board at the time.

The nation is grieving, and our thoughts and prayers go out to Autumn Nelon Streetman and all those affected by this heartbreaking loss. We stand in solidarity and offer our deepest condolences during these difficult times.

The Nelons have left an indelible mark on the world of gospel music with their talent and dedication. Their legacy is celebrated through popular songs like “I Shall Not Be Moved,” “Come Morning,” and “We Shall Wear a Robe and Crown.” As influential figures in gospel music, their contributions have earned them a place in the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 2016 and three Grammy nominations.

Now, the National Transportation Safety Board will conduct a comprehensive investigation to uncover the cause of this tragic accident. It is crucial that we understand the circumstances surrounding the crash to prevent similar incidents in the future.

At this time, we kindly request your continued prayers, love, and support for Autumn Nelon Streetman and the Nelons family. Together, let’s honor their legacy and hold them in our hearts during this difficult period.
