On January 7, a tragic incident involving an ICE agent resulted in the death of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother of three. New video footage has emerged, capturing the moments immediately after her death and revealing the words of the ICE agent involved.

This heartbreaking event unfolded during President Donald Trumpโs enforcement of immigration policies in Minneapolis, intended to curb illegal immigration. As Renee was returning home after dropping off her son at school, she encountered the ICE agent. What should have been a routine interaction ended in a devastating loss.
Instead of complying, Renee attempted to drive away, which tragically resulted in her being fatally shot by the agent. The tragedy has deeply divided opinions across the nation. Members of the Trump Administration have been quick to label Renee as a “domestic terrorist,” further igniting the controversy.
Despite the circumstances, the White House Press Secretary on Monday referred to Renee in derogatory terms. In a public briefing, when questioned whether President Trump stood by the ICE agent’s actions, the Secretary didn’t hold back.
Disparaging Remarks from the White House Press Secretary
The Secretary criticized Renee, painting her negatively and echoing previous labels of her as a left-wing activist. This stance has only fueled further debate.
โIndeed, it’s apparent that the officer was defending himself,โ stated the Secretary. โWith an abundance of evidence, it is now clear that this misguided woman attempted to use her car as a weapon against the officer.โ

In Minneapolis, the streets have filled with protesters expressing their outrage over the ICE agent’s actions. It remains uncertain if the agent, identified as Jonathan Ross, will face legal action, but newly released footage provides further insight into the sorrowful incident.
An analysis by a forensic expert of the video, obtained from Alpha News, shows a conversation between Renee and Ross just before the fatal shooting. Renee is heard reassuringly saying, โThatโs fine, dude. Iโm not mad at you.โ
Her wife, Becca, is also present and expresses her views, emphasizing their compliance. โWe donโt change our number plates daily; they will remain the same when you check later,โ she remarked. โYou want to confront us? Go ahead, and have some lunch first.โ

During the tense encounter, another ICE officer yelled for Renee to exit her car. Instead, she drove away, prompting Ross to fire his weapon. Sadly, her vehicle then collided with parked cars as Ross uttered an expletive.
Government statements have suggested that Reneeโs actions provoked the shooting. They allege she struck the ICE agent with her car, prompting him to act in self-defense.
However, not everyone agrees. Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis voiced his disagreement. Last Wednesday, having viewed the footage, he denounced the narrative of self-defense. โTheyโre trying to paint this incorrectly,โ he asserted.
