This cheesy taco bake is a family favorite that comes together quickly! Ideal for taco night! If you and your family adore Taco Night, this bake is a must-try. It’s similar to “Walking Tacos,” but this is an all-in-one casserole dish, so it’s a little easier. My children adored it.

If you and your family adore Taco Night, this bake is a must-try. It’s similar to “Walking Tacos,” but this is an all-in-one casserole dish, so it’s a little easier. The cheesy layer on this was a hit with my kids, and we all enjoyed adding our favorite taco toppings.

Ingredients for Walking Taco Bake:
1 pound ground beef
1 tsp taco seasoning
2/3 cup water 2/3 cup chili cheese Fritos
1/2 can soup with cheddar cheese
a quarter cup milk
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
1.) Brown the meat or turkey in a skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain the fat and combine it with the taco seasoning and water.
2.) Simmer for 5 minutes on low heat, or until liquid is absorbed and meat is completely covered in seasoning.
3.) Line the bottom of an 8 × 8 baking dish with chili cheese Fritos. Top Fritos with seasoned meat.
4.) Heat the cheddar cheese soup and milk in a saucepan over low heat. When the cheese mixture is warm, pour it over the meat.
5.) Distribute the mozzarella equally.
