It’s that time of year again when we gather with loved ones and indulge in delicious holiday treats. And one recipe that never fails to please is the ooey, gooey, hot and delicious Lil’ Ham Sliders. There are many versions of this recipe out there, but this one is my go-to favorite. Whether you serve them as appetizers or for breakfast, these sliders are sure to be a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 stick of melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of dried onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of poppy seeds
  • 1lb of sliced honey smoked ham
  • 1 1/2 cups of shredded Swiss & Gruyere cheese blend

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, dried onion flakes, and poppy seeds.
  4. Drizzle half of the butter mixture over the bottom half of the rolls.
  5. Layer the sliced honey smoked ham on top of the rolls.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded Swiss & Gruyere cheese blend evenly over the ham.
  7. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.
  8. Drizzle the remaining butter mixture over the top of the rolls.
  9. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
  11. Cut the sliders into individual portions and serve hot.

These Lil’ Ham Sliders are the perfect combination of sweet and savory, with the sweetness of the Hawaiian rolls complementing the smoky honey ham and gooey cheese. The melted butter and flavorful sauce add an extra depth of flavor that will have your guests coming back for seconds.

So this holiday season, treat yourself and your loved ones to these irresistible Lil’ Ham Sliders. They make a great appetizer for parties or a satisfying breakfast that will fuel you for a day of celebration. Enjoy!
