The Alameda County Coroner’s Office has recently confirmed that his cause of death was an accidental overdose, resulting from a combination of drugs including methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines.
Angus’s family has revealed that he was going through a difficult period after the recent loss of his father. Just a week before his untimely passing, he had traveled to Ireland to attend his father’s funeral. The weight of grief and personal struggles became overwhelming for him.
In addition to his notable role in “Euphoria,” Angus had an exciting career ahead of him. He had three upcoming projects, including “Your Lucky Day,” “Freaky Tales,” and an untitled “Monster Thriller” production for Universal Studios. Sadly, he will never get to witness the final outcomes of these projects.
Angus Cloud’s family suspects that his passing was the result of a drug overdose, given his ongoing mental health struggles. Coping with the loss of his father took a toll on him, and he found himself battling with his mental well-being. His mother made a distress call to 911 from their family home in Oakland, California, when she suspected her son had overdosed on drugs. Tragically, Angus could not be revived and was pronounced dead.
Speaking about their beloved Angus, the family shared a heartfelt statement: “Today, we say goodbye to an incredible human being who touched our lives in countless ways. As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us.” They also expressed the immense pain they felt as Angus struggled with the recent loss of his father. The family finds solace in knowing that he is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health, and his family hopes that his passing serves as a reminder that nobody should fight these battles alone and in silence.
