How to Keep Key Lime Pie Fresh
Wrap the cooled Key lime pie tightly in plastic wrap or foil. Keep refrigerated for up to three days. Chill before serving.
Is Key Lime Pie Freezable?

Yes! You may freeze Key lime pie for up to three months (but don’t add whipped cream or toppings until it’s completely thawed). Bake the pie in a foil pan if you intend to freeze it. Wrap the cooled pie with at least one piece of plastic wrap, then at least one sheet of foil. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
Ingredients

3 cups condensed sweetened milk

34 cup lime juice

12 cup soured cream

1 tbsp. grated lime zest

1 prepared graham cracker crust (9 inch)

Key Lime Pie Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

In a mixing dish, combine condensed milk, key lime juice, sour cream, and lime zest. Place pie on a baking pan and pour into graham cracker crust.

Bake for 5 to 8 minutes, or until tiny pinhole bubbles break on the surface of the pie. The filling will be somewhat wobbly but not burnt.

Transfer pie to a wire rack to cool, then chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving. If desired, garnish with lime slices and whipped cream.
