Ingredients:

1 cup regular flour

a half teaspoon baking powder

6 tablespoons melted salted butter

1 granulated sugar cup

1 pound brown sugar

1 egg

a tsp vanilla extract

1.5 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (thawed and drained if using frozen)

a quarter teaspoon of salt

Directions:

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Meanwhile, butter an 8×8 baking pan.

In a mixing basin, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter and both sugars until they are well combined.

Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract into the mixture and stir until smooth.

Incorporate the dry mixture into this bowl bit by bit, being careful not to overmix.

Fold in 1 cup of the blueberries gently, making sure they are well distributed.

Even out the surface of the batter in your baking pan.

Finally, sprinkle the top with the remaining blueberries.

The oven is ready: bake for 30 minutes. Only a few damp fragments should be revealed by a toothpick test.

Allow the blondies to cool quickly in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
