Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
1 granulated sugar cup
1 teaspoon pure vanilla essence 1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup pecans or almonds, chopped
14 cup toffee bits (Heath or like)
Instructions:

Line a 913-inch baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat and put aside.
Cook the butter and sugar as follows:
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add the sugar and salt and mix well. Continue to stir regularly.
Bring the ingredients to a boil. Once it begins to boil, reduce the heat slightly and continue to simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until it gets a golden brown hue. To avoid burning, keep stirring constantly.
Remove the saucepan from the heat after adding the vanilla extract.
Incorporate the vanilla extract. When you add the vanilla, it will start to bubble. Continue to whisk until everything is fully blended.
Pour the toffee mixture onto the baking sheet that has been prepared.
Spread it out evenly with a spatula. It will solidify quickly, so work swiftly.
Add Chocolate Chips: Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot toffee right away.
Allow them to soften for a minute before spreading the melted chocolate evenly over the toffee with a spatula.
Toppings: Gently press the chopped nuts or almonds and toffee bits into the melted chocolate using the back of a spatula.
Allow the toffee to cool for 2-3 hours at room temperature, or until it hardens.
Once the toffee has hardened, break it into bite-sized pieces using your hands or the back of a knife.
To serve, spoon out your “Better Than Anything” toffee. It’s a tasty treat for any occasion.
This toffee is sweet, crunchy, and oh-so-delicious. It makes an excellent homemade gift or a tasty treat for yourself. Enjoy!
