I bake giftable loaves for friends, family, teachers, and neighbors every year. It’s a tasty treat that everyone will enjoy!
Even better, it’s quick and simple to create (around 5 minutes hands-on time) with cupboard goods!
INGREDIENTS
2 cups sugar 4 cups flour 2 tbsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 2 eggs 2 cups milk 23 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon cinnamon + 1 teaspoon sugar 23 cup
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease two loaf pans.
Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing basin. Place aside.
In a large mixing bowl or with an electric mixer, combine the eggs, milk, and oil.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet until it is just moist.
To compensate for the increase, pour the mixture an inch below the top.
Topping should be spooned on top of each loaf and swirled in with a knife, leaving some on top.
Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the bread comes out clean.
