This is a delectable crust that is great for fruit pies.
I had just started out in pastry baking, and this was my first pie crust. I’d heard so many horror stories that I assumed I’d use the ready-made dough from the supermarket that you just lay in a pan and bake, but it was good enough for my first pie. My friend, on the other hand, encouraged me to create my own. And it was so simple to prepare and treat that I’m constantly amazed at how well it turned out.

ONLY 200g cake flour is required for the pie.

  • 100g soft semi-salted butter.
  • 2 Tablespoons.Of CANOLA oil.
  • 2 Tablespoons.Of milk.
  • 2 Tablespoons.Of sugar.
  • The yolk of an egg.
  • INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Step 1: In a mixing dish, combine the canola oil, milk, and sugar.
  • Step 2: Add the butter and one egg yolk, then beat until a homogeneous mixture is formed.
  • Step 3: Stir in the flour until a soft dough forms.
  • Step 4: Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Step 5: All you have to do now is utilize it and spread it with your hand or a roller as you see fit.
