Pistachio Bread

Loaf cakes are a delight, aren’t they? Banana bread, pound cake, pumpkin bread, zucchini bread… the list goes on. What I love about these baked goodies is that they are so simple and humble that you can enjoy them guilt-free for breakfast (or maybe it’s just me?).

Today, I want to share with you a recipe for pistachio bread that I recently tried. I was hoping for a sweet and subtle nutty flavor packaged into a festive green loaf, and let me tell you, it was love at first bite! Trust me, you’ll want to give this recipe a try.

I made these pistachio loaves as a test for holiday baking, and they definitely passed with flying colors. If you want to up the festive vibes, feel free to add green food coloring and some sprinkles. Wrap a loaf in cellophane with a holiday ribbon, and you’ve got yourself the perfect edible Christmas gift (the best kind of gift, in my opinion). And if you like to plan ahead, these loaves freeze super well too!

Now, let’s talk about how easy this recipe is. With the use of cake mix and pistachio pudding mix, it’s a cinch to throw together. That’s why it’s also great to get young bakers involved in the process. They’ll especially love the bright green batter! Trust me, you can’t go wrong with this recipe any time of the year.
