Ingredients
1 cup melted butter (or 1 butter stick and 1 stick margarine)
two cups sugar
1/2 cup chocolate powder, unsweetened
4 big (lightly beaten) eggs
a tsp vanilla extract
a quarter teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 cups regular flour
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped toasted pecans
1 bag (10.5 ounces) miniature marshmallows
1 sifting packet powdered sugar
a half teaspoon milk
1 tablespoon softened butter
a third cup unsweetened cocoa
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large mixing basin, combine the melted butter and the next 5 ingredients.
Mix in the flour and pecans.
In a greased and floured 15 x 10-inch jelly pan (or a deep dish cookie sheet), spread the dough (it will be thick).
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean. If using a dark baking pan, reduce the temperature by 25 degrees.
Remove from oven and evenly cover hot cake with marshmallows.
Return to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes.
Make the chocolate frosting as follows: Using an electric mixer, combine all ingredients until smooth.
Pour the hot cake with the chocolate frosting.
Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing it into squares!
