Do you enjoy burritos? You, of course, do!!! Absolutely everyone does! And I am no exception. Today I’m going to take a new spin on conventional burritos and make burrito casserole.

It’s like numerous burritos roasted together in one dish. It’s some sort of Mexican lasagna for me. Layers of wheat tortillas topped with a creamy mushroom sauce, taco-flavored succulent meat, refried beans, and melted Mexican mix cheese…Doesn’t it sound delicious?

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef

1/2 chopped onion

1 tsp taco seasoning

6 flour tortillas, large

1 refried bean can

2 to 3 cups shredded taco or cheddar cheese

1 can mushroom cream soup

4 oz. sour cream

Instructions
Brown the meat and onion in a skillet; drain.

Stir in taco spice and refried beans.

In a separate bowl, combine the soup and sour cream.

In the bottom of a casserole dish, spread 1/2 of the sour cream mixture.

Tear up 3 tortillas and place them on top of the sour cream mixture.

Place half of the pork bean mixture on top.

Place a layer of cheese on top.

Layers should be repeated.

Sprinkle with cheese and bake uncovered at 350°F for 20-30 minutes.
