Hot Dog Tater Tot Casserole is the epitome of comfort food. Hot dogs, chili, tater tots, and cheddar cheese mix to make a quick and tasty supper. This hillbilly casserole will undoubtedly become a family favorite.

For this Cheesy Hot Dog Tater Tot Casserole, I use canned chili, but you could use homemade. You can have it with or without the beans. You’ll need 2 15-ounce cans, or little less than 4 cups of homemade chili. I usually use one can of beans and one can of water.

Eight sliced hot dogs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, finely chopped onion, and a few red pepper flakes are added to the chili.
