Ingredients:

1 pound beef ground

2 diced bell peppers

1 finely diced onion

3 minced garlic cloves

1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 (15-ounce) can low-sodium beef broth

1 (15-ounce) can chopped tomatoes

1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice

1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

3/4 cup grated Mozzarella cheese

3/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Steps:

Brown the ground beef in a large skillet, dividing it up into smaller pieces as it cooks.

When the beef is almost done, add the onions and bell peppers. Cook for another 5-10 minutes, or until they soften.

Add the minced garlic to the mixture and heat for a few minutes, until the aroma becomes noticeable.

Combine the Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, diced tomatoes, rice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Bring the mixture to a boil.

Reduce the heat to a simmer once the water has boiled. Cover the skillet and simmer the combination for about 20 minutes. Remember to give it a good stir halfway through.

When the rice is soft, fold in half of the cheese mixture until it melds with the beef and rice.

Top with the remaining cheese. Cover the skillet again and let the cheese melt into gooey bliss. If you’re in a hurry and using an oven-safe pan, you can speed up the melting process by placing the skillet under a broiler.

Remove the skillet from the heat after the cheese has melted wonderfully.

Serve hot and enjoy the typical flavor of stuffed peppers in a fraction of the time!
