Cranberry Walnut Cookie Balls Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter, softened (2 sticks)
  • 6 Tbs sugar (⅜ cup)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 2 cups walnuts, chopped into small pieces
  • ½ cup Craisins® dried cranberries, chopped into small pieces
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla on medium speed until creamy.
  3. Gradually beat in the flour and salt until just blended.
  4. Add the chopped walnuts and dried cranberries, and stir.
  5. Using a 1″ cookie scoop or clean hands, roll the dough into 1″ balls and place them on ungreased cookie sheets, about 1 inch apart.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until the bottoms are lightly browned.
  7. Remove from the oven.
  8. While the cookies are baking, pour the powdered sugar into a shallow bowl or pie plate.
  9. Roll 4-5 hot cookies at a time in the powdered sugar until each cookie is well coated.
  10. Place the cookies on a wire rack to cool completely.
