In my neck of the woods, it’s peach season, and I’ve been dying to try these! When I was making my Apple Dumplings last fall, I thought to myself, “Hey, these would be good with peaches, too!” I’ve been waiting for some beautiful, sweet peaches to arrive to give it a try ever since.

And I have to say, these babies are very tasty. In fact, I think I like them better than the Apple version. There’s something strange about how nicely all of these components work together, but it’s great.

It’s a quick and simple method to have a delectable dessert on the table in under an hour. They’re fantastic when served warm with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream. Have fun, everyone!

Dumplings with Peaches

CourseDessert Preparation Timeten minutes minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
8 dumplings per serving

1 large peach (eight ounces) 8-count refrigerated crescent rolls 1/2 cup melted butter 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 3/4 cup lemon-lime soda

Preheat the oven to 350°F and coat an 8-inch glass baking dish liberally with nonstick cooking spray. Remove the pit from the peach and slice it into eight wedges.
Unroll the crescent rolls from the can. Place one peach slice on the wide end of one crescent and roll it up. Put them in a baking dish. Continue with the remaining rolls.
Combine the melted butter, sugar, cinnamon, and flour in a small mixing basin and stir until just mixed. Fill each crescent with the mixture.
Pour the lemon-lime soda into the empty spaces between the dumplings, being careful not to overflow. 35–40 minutes, or until crescents are golden brown. Serve with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream while still warm.
