This cabbage soup recipe does the unthinkable: it consumes a whole head of cabbage in one sitting!

I eat cabbage for weeks almost every time I buy it, putting some in a slaw, some in a bowl, more in a taco, and so on. So I was taken aback the first time I made this cabbage soup meal.

I began with half of my cabbage. As it wilted, it melted into the soup with the aromatic vegetables and herbs. I didn’t want it to go away, after all, I was making cabbage soup, so I increased the amount. Before I knew it, I’d tossed every single ounce of my cabbage into the pot!

This dish calls for one large cabbage.
2 thinly sliced small onions
2 cans stewed tomatoes.
1 pound Lipton Onion Soup Any flavor can be combined.
1 large celery, chopped into small pieces.
ground beef that has been seasoned
