500 g extra large peeled shrimp – freshly ground black pepper – 1/4 cup chopped fresh garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt
  • Optional: 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
6 tablespoons chopped unsalted butter 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 spoon chopped fresh parsley soup (optional)

Hawaiian Shrimp with Butter and Garlic Preparation

Pat shrimp dry on both sides with paper towels to remove extra moisture. Place in a mixing bowl.

Flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt and pepper to taste. To coat evenly, toss.

In a nonstick pan, melt the butter with the olive oil.

Sauté the garlic for 30 seconds, or until fragrant (but not browned).

Add the shrimp to the pan in an equal layer. Cook for 2 minutes, or until the bottoms are pink.

Then flip and cook the second side for another 2 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove from the heat, combine with the lemon, and garnish with the parsley.

Serve the Buttery Garlic Hawaiian Shrimp immediately with the Garlic Butter Sauce on the side.
