HOW TO MAKE NOODLES WITH SHRIMP AND TERIYAKI STEAK

This recipe combines juicy shrimp, tender beef marinated in teriyaki, and flavorful noodles to make a wonderful and satisfying Asian-inspired meal. This recipe makes four meals, but you can easily double the ingredients to make more!!!
LIST OF INGREDIENTS:

  • 225 g sirloin or ribeye steak.

225 g large shrimp (peeled and deveined).

  • 225 grams.Udon noodle soup.

1 cup broccoli florets.

  • 3 Tbsp.Of vegetable oil, divided.
  • 2 garlic cloves – minced.
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce (purchased or homemade).

  • 1 Tbsp.Of oyster sauce.
  • 1 Tbsp.Of brown sugar.
  • 1 Tsp.Of sesame oil.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

PREPARATION:

First Step

Begin by marinating the steak for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight, in teriyaki sauce. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the sirloin in a shallow dish to completely coat it. While marinating, refrigerate and cover. And cook the udon noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.

Second Step

Remove the sirloin from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Remove the steak from the marinade and season it on both sides with salt and pepper.

1 tablespoon vegetable oil, heated in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until done to your liking. When the steak is done, transfer it to a cutting board and lay it aside for a few minutes before carving it thinly across the grain.

Over medium heat, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil to the same pan. Sauté the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) for 30 seconds, or until fragrant.

Then, in the same skillet over medium heat, add the final tablespoon of vegetable oil. Combine the pepper strips and broccoli florets in a mixing bowl. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft but still golden.

Finally, stir the cooked udon noodles with the remaining ingredients in the pan until they are equally coated with the fragrant sauce.
