A delicious dish topped with all of your favorite pizza ingredients. This goes well with a salad and garlic toast. The leftovers are delicious. I’ve made this ahead of time and brought it to potlucks the next day in a slow cooker.

This was a hit with my family when I served it for dinner. I used Italian sausage for the ground beef and angel hair pasta for the egg noodles. I also substituted pizza sauce for the spaghetti sauce. I will most certainly make it again.

I discovered this recipe on Facebook the other day and decided to give it a try tonight. The black olives and mushrooms were left out. I did use a pound and a half of ground beef and cooked the noodles ahead of time. It didn’t seem to be an issue doing it that way. It was fantastic.

Ingredients:

1 pound ground meat
1 box bow tie pasta (16 oz.)
12 teaspoon oregano 12 teaspoon salt
12 tsp garlic powder
2 oz. pepperoni, sliced
1 jar spaghetti sauce (26 oz.)
1 can chopped Italian style tomatoes, 10 oz.
14 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 package (8 oz.) shredded Italian cheese blend
Other pizza toppings, such as black olives, sausage, onions, and green peppers, can be added.

Boil water and salt for the pasta. When it begins to boil, add the pasta. In a separate frying pan, brown the meat. When the pasta is done, drain it.
Pour a small quantity of sauce into a lightly greased 913 inch pan to lightly coat the bottom. Add a layer of spaghetti, followed by half of the sauce, a can of tomatoes, garlic powder, and oregano.
Layer the ground meat on top of the pasta, followed by the pepperonis. Sprinkle with Parmesan and Italian cheeses. And then top with additional pepperoni. Just like a pizza, top with bacon bits and whatever else you like!
