My grandmother’s old goulash recipe (we called it Johnny Marzetti alternately, but it’s also known as American goulash or American chop suey) was one of my childhood favorites.
A huge dish of old goulash with some melted cheddar cheese on top is simply so warm and comforting. To be honest, I could eat it every day and never get tired of it!

1 entire kernel of maize can be drained
° 2 mushroom cans
1 can (14.5 oz.) chopped tomatoes
° 12 cup water and 15 oz can tomato sauce
° 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
- Techniques:
Simmers for around 20-25 minutes.
Then, lastly, add 2 cups cooked pasta as recommended. This is always served with cornmeal.
Have fun with it!
