Make sure the fresh crabmeat you use is free of shells and cartilage. If you’re using canned crabmeat, drain it thoroughly and pick out any shells or other debris with a fork.

Second Step

Wash the vegetables thoroughly and cut them into little cubes or pieces. Fresh herbs, such as cilantro or parsley, should be chopped and green onions should be thinly sliced. If you’re planning to utilize the avocado, cut it into little cubes.

Third Step

In a large mixing bowl, combine prepared crabmeat, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red bell pepper, red onion, green onion, and fresh cilantro or parsley. If using avocado, integrate it by carefully folding it in.
