  • 4 salmon fillets (about 1 inch thick) – freshly ground salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (65 mL)
  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons divided butter + 1 teaspoon butter

1/2 teaspoon honey 2 tablespoons fresh parsley

  • Lime wedges

Preparation:

Step 1
Heat a teaspoon of butter in a small pot over medium heat. Sauté the garlic for 1 to 2 minutes.

Step 2: Stir in the chicken broth and lemon juice. Allow the sauce to decrease by half (approximately 3 minutes).

Step: 3
Whisk in the butter and honey until fully combined. Keep aside.

Step: 4
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper to taste.

Step: 5
In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Cook the fish for 4 minutes on one side and 2 to 3 minutes on the other.

With a nice sprinkle of butter sauce on top. Serve with lemon wedges and garnished with parsley.
