Ingredients
12 cup (1 stick) softened butter
1 cup flour 3 tbsp sugar
Filling
2 cups water 2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons cornstarch
1 (6 oz.) packet strawberry jell-o 3 quarts cleaned and de-stemmed strawberries *If using a shallow pie plate, cut filling quantity in half.

Directions:
Crust
Combine the butter, sugar, and flour in a mixing bowl and press into a buttered deep pie pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 375°F.
Filling
Bring the water, sugar, and cornstarch to a boil, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thick and clear.
Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry jell-o.
Cool after mixing thoroughly.
Strawberries should be folded in.
Pour into pie crust.
Refrigerate until set, then serve with whipped cream.
