Ingredients:

2 cups regular flour
1 teaspoon of sugar 1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) melted unsalted butter
1 and 1/2 cup buttermilk
Optional additional melted butter for brushing
Instructions:

Preheat the Oven to 450°F (230°C): Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish or another oven-safe dish.
Combine the following dry ingredients: Combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing basin. Combine thoroughly.
Melted Butter: Stir the melted butter into the dry ingredients. Stir in the butter until it is completely blended. The mixture will look like shaggy dough.
Pour the buttermilk into the mixing bowl with the dough. Stir just until mixed. Avoid overmixing; the dough should be lumpy.
Place in a baking dish: Fill the baking dish halfway with biscuit dough. Distribute it evenly.
Make a “Butter Pool”: Now for the “Butter Swim” section. Poke deep holes all over the biscuit dough using a fork or the back of a spoon. This will make pockets for the butter to collect in.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the biscuits are cooked through, in a preheated oven. The melted butter will provide a crispy, buttery bottom crust.
Optional Butter Brush: Brush the tops of the biscuits with additional melted butter as soon as they come out of the oven for extra buttery pleasure.
Allow to cool somewhat before serving the biscuits. You can top them with butter, honey, jam, or anything else you like.
These Butter Swim Biscuits are a delectable delicacy that can be served for breakfast or as a side dish with dinner. Enjoy!
