Made with delightfully flaky phyllo dough with a soothing filling of spinach and feta cheese, spanakopita is a hearty, hearty Greek pie. If filo dough is unfamiliar, it is just layers of thin pastry dough that are typically seen next to frozen foods like pie crust and pretzels.

You can make spanakopita as hand pies in triangles or even rolls, or as a big casserole like the one in today’s recipe.

Egg yolk (1), 125 milliliters (half a cup) milk, 125 milliliters (3/5 cup) vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons water, 1 tablespoon salt, spinach, feta, salt pepper, and 3 filo dough rolls
