This decadent and quick tiramisu recipe uses simple ingredients to create the greatest homemade tiramisu in about 10 minutes. To make the ultimate no-bake summer dessert, delicate coffee-soaked ladyfingers are piled with creamy mascarpone cream and dusted with chocolate powder.

The combination of chocolate and espresso aromas is enticing, and when mixed in a sweet and creamy treat, it is certainly heaven on earth.

Tiramisu has always been one of my favorite desserts, not just because of its wonderful taste, but also because it is ridiculously easy to make and makes the perfect make-ahead treat for any occasion.

Today I’m going to show you how to make tiramisu at home without eggs or alcohol in under 10 minutes. You’ll be blown away by how simple it is to make and how delicious it is!

What exactly is Tiramisu?
Tiramisù is a typical Italian dessert made of layers of creamy mascarpone cream and ladyfinger cookies steeped in espresso and wine.

This delectable, creamy dish is then finished with a liberal sprinkling of cocoa powder, making it one of the simplest, most delectable sweets in Italian cuisine.

This dessert is widely regarded as the “world’s most famous dessert” for a variety of reasons.

It’s worth mentioning that the name Tiramisù literally translates to “pick me up” or “cheer me up” in Italian.

The flavors of this handmade tiramisu are incredibly rich, making it the ideal afternoon treat for an instant mood/energy boost.

Tiramisu made without eggs or booze!
There are numerous varieties on this beloved dessert, and the tiramisu recipe I’m sharing with you today is a simplified version with all of the exquisite tastes of the traditional form.

The traditional tiramisu recipe is great, but it requires eggs, booze, and a lot of effort to make, and I wanted to create a version that’s similarly good but with a smooth procedure that everyone can enjoy.

Traditional tiramisu calls for raw eggs, which can be intimidating for some and dangerous if done incorrectly. This recipe uses whipped cream instead of raw eggs, which streamlines the preparation and saves a few calories.

Because there is no baking or tempering raw eggs, this recipe is extremely simple to prepare. Instead, it asks for a quick procedure of combining the filling and assembling the dessert, which takes only a few minutes from start to end.

To be honest, the most difficult part of this recipe is waiting for the tiramisu to set so you can dive in and enjoy its amazing tastes.

Often, recipes ask for the inclusion of liquor, but I’ve also left it out totally. It’s entirely up to you whether or not to include it, but I think it tastes just fine without.

Having an espresso machine is also not required for this recipe, as I will reveal my method of making Tiramisu with instant coffee for those of you who want an easier, more cheap approach to create Tiramisu.

What ingredients do I need to create Tiramisu?
One of the best features about this tiramisu recipe is that, like many other dessert recipes I’ve published in the past, it simply calls for a few simple, readily available ingredients. The following are the ingredients you will require:

For the filling, combine whipping cream, powdered sugar, room-temperature mascarpone cheese, and vanilla extract. You can also use plain granulated sugar in this recipe, but I like how the small icing sugar particles mingle in with the silky cream mixture.
If mascarpone cheese is unavailable or too pricey for your budget, you can substitute it by combining 7 ounces softened cream cheese and 2 tablespoons sour cream to replicate the flavors of mascarpone.
If you don’t have an espresso machine, you may just combine a tbsp or two of instant coffee with a cup of room temperature water to make the coffee mixture.
Ladyfingers, sometimes known as Savoiardi, should be easy to obtain in your local supermarket, usually in the biscuit or international area. I recommend buying the genuine Italian variety because it will bring out the best flavors and textures in your tiramisu.
Sponge cake, biscotti, and pound cake are all good substitutes. If you wish to stick to the recipe, ladyfingers are extremely simple to create from scratch!
Unsweetened cocoa powder: for a luscious, chocolatey touch on the top.

And there you have it, all the components for the best homemade tiramisu! I hope you love this simple recipe because it is without a doubt one of my all-time favorite desserts.

Is it possible to make tiramisu without eggs?
It’s vital to clarify that the recipe’s “eggless” designation refers to the absence of raw eggs in the cream, although the ladyfingers used to layer the cake do include egg content.

The typical method of tempering raw eggs can be a demanding task in terms of both time and execution in many circumstances, which is one of the main reasons they were left out of this variant.

To avoid using eggs entirely, I recommend sourcing eggless ladyfingers or creating them from scratch. Here’s a recipe from Gemma’s Bigger Bolder Baking that you might find useful.

That’s all there is to it! Everything you need to know about making tiramisu in the comfort of your own home. Enjoy everyone, and if you have any questions, please leave a comment below or DM me on Instagram!
